Last week, members of our team at American Rhino had the exciting opportunity to travel to Kenya for the 31st Rhino Charge, an annual off-road fundraising event. In order to complete the challenge, competitors are required to hit 13 checkpoints that are scattered over a vast 100 square kilometers of rough and bumpy terrain. The event is organized to raise money for the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust and it did just that, generating a whopping KES 156,336,331.33 which is equal to over $1.5 million U.S. Dollars.     We always say there are no bad days in Kenya. Last month, myself and the American Rhino team spent our time between Nairobi, for factory check-ins and summer product planning, the Masai Mara for conservation work, and more. International Zebra Day!

International Zebra Day!

     January 31st is International Zebra Day! To celebrate these beautiful creatures we ask a difficult question, are Zebra's black with white stripes or white with black stripes? Did you know that the American Rhino Foundation supports all African Wildlife?Our most recent grant went towards supporting the Masai Mara Rangers, who protect and serve the Masai Mara National Reserve where all different types of wildlife, including over 200,000 Zebras are able to roam free. The Rangers patrol the reserve daily on foot. The reserve is located on the South-Western part of Kenya along the Tanzanian border, the territory is about the size of Rhode...
